Breaking down odyssey.ai

Odyssey’s landing page reads as a single considered artifact: a glowing dimensional object floating over an airy gradient, framed by quiet editorial type. Everything below is taken from its production stylesheets — the same tokens, the same motion curves — then rebuilt here around Keuristic’s own 3D mark. Move your cursor across the page; the object answers with light.

Two voices, strict roles

A single variable sans — Golos Text, 400–900 — carries every headline and paragraph. IBM Plex Mono never speaks in sentences: it annotates, labels, timestamps. The contrast between voice and annotation is the whole typographic system.

One blue on a breathing field

The page owns exactly one saturated color — signal blue #5784e8 — spent only on links, glows and annotations. Text is soft navy, secondary text is slate, and the background is a fog of lavender and peach auras over #e5e8f1. Warmth comes from light, not from ink.

Glass cards, glowing mass

Containers are translucent white #fff9 with a hairline rgba(77,82,106,.1) border and a 12px radius. Elevation is earned on hover — a 2px lift and a soft navy shadow. Depth belongs to the object at the center of the page: the only thing allowed to actually glow. This card is the spec.

Slow, damped, deferential

Nothing snaps. Content rises 20px into place as you scroll (.6s ease-out, staggered). The object floats on a long sine and answers the cursor with a pulse of rim light. Marquees take a full 90s per loop. Every animation yields to prefers-reduced-motion.

One column, one object

The entire page lives in a centered 800px editorial column with generous vertical rhythm, and the hero is symmetric around a single dimensional centerpiece. No sidebars, no competing focal points — hierarchy is built from whitespace and one axis.

The language, spoken by Keuristic

The same grammar applied to the six-product portfolio: glass index-cards, mono field notes, brand marks treated as luminous objects on soft tiles. The centerpiece behind this page is Keuristic’s own mark — the physical keychain model — rendered with Odyssey’s fresnel glow in place of its pearl orb.
